Scripture REF: Mark 11:21,
“Peter remembered what Jesus had said to the tree on the previous day and exclaimed, “Look, Rabbi! The fig tree you cursed has withered and died!”
After Peter exclaimed to Jesus that His prophecy had come to pass, He responded by saying:
“Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God..”
The Hebrew translation reads: “Have faith of God.”
There is a kind of faith that we refer to as the faith of God.
At one point in time, in his anger, the Bible tells us that Jesus cursed the fig tree and announced that no fruit shall be produced from it. The day that Jesus spoke this, however, the fig tree didn’t dry up. It was only on the following day that people eye-witnessed that the tree had dried up. All the leaves fell and the bark of the tree was wizened.
This is what happens to us sometimes. God can declare something in your life and yet the word will come deprived of immediate answers. He will declare that curses in your life have been dried up and yet everyone around you will still be seeing green leaves.
Do not worry if this happens. Keep having the faith. Just because it doesn’t happen immediately doesn’t mean that it will not happen. If God said it will then best believe that His word will come to pass.
